This is episode number 326 and our guest is Jared Lyle from the Hunt & Fool.

Last year about this time we had Jared on the podcast in episode 269 to talk about tag

draws, preference points and your hunting opportunity.

And in that episode we kind of went state by state to discuss what their system was like

and clarify do they have a point structure and if so is it a bonus point structure or

do they not use points in that certain state and we focused on the western states for

species like deer and elk and including some of the other harder to draw species like sheep

and goat.

Today we have Jared back on the podcast to talk about what's new for 2022.

So once again we go state by state through most of the western states and talk about anything

that's changed or that is new for 2022 and that could be changes in non-resident tag

allocations in the draw process and regulations such as the use of trail cameras etc.

This was a very informative episode and a great one to have at this time of year as we're

planning our hunts for the coming fall.
