Summary

Content is free stuff I put out to bring people into my world—whether it’s a podcast, video, or post. I’ve been making content since 2005, starting with basketball, then adding mindset, and now business. I’ve created over 40,000 pieces, including 3,000+ podcast episodes. In this episode, I’ll break down why I do it, how my content has changed over the years, and where I’m taking it next. Show Notes: [03:49]#1 One is observation and opinions. [09:41]#2 Stealing and borrowing.  [18:39]#3 Breaking down and explaining things. I can't say it enough. Work on your game. You are now tuned into the show where you learn the discipline to show up day after day to do the work, the confidence to put yourself out there, boldly and authentically and the mental toughness to continue showing up, doing the work, pling yourself out there even when the success you're expected to achieve has yet to be achieved. And on top of all this, you get a huge dose of personal initiative, which is to go get an energy that moves any one of us, including yourself, to go and make things happen instead of wait for things that happen. And then we put all this together into a series of frameworks, approaches, insights, strategies and techniques all underneath the umbrella of one unifying philosophy that is called Work on Your Game. My name is Drey Baldwin, also known as Dre All Day, and welcome to the show.

And today's topic is how and why I create

1:35.8

endless content. And this is going to be a two-part series where I'm going to explain how I do it,

1:41.5

why I do it, where am I going with this? Is there a specific reason why I create as much material as I create? I'm going to answer all those questions here today that maybe you're wondering about, maybe you're not, but now that I brought it up, now you're probably thinking about it. So I don't even really need to get too much of a background for this, just to make sure all of you understand what content is. Content is material that people put out, usually online, that is free of charge, that is designed

2:06.2

to ostensibly give you a test drive of who I am and to bring you deeper into my world.

2:11.9

So maybe you'll subscribe, you'll continue to follow, you will engage, you'll get on the list,

2:17.2

whatever it is that I have going on

2:19.2

that I'm asking you to take a deeper step, but it might just be as simple as just subscribe to

2:23.0

the show or follow me on Instagram or whatever, subscribe to my YouTube channel, whatever it may be.

2:29.8

That's what content is. Free material that is designed to engage and entertain and or inform people so that

2:37.3

they come deeper into your world. So that's what I mean when I say content. Now, I am a person who

2:41.1

does create a lot of content. Been creating content since 2005. When it was basketball stuff,

2:46.5

in 2010, I added in mindset to the basketball. In 2015, I dropped the basketball and just kept

2:52.6

mindset. And then around 2020, I started talking a lot more about business things. So I had,
