Hello, Dreamers. Good morning and welcome back to the podcast. I'm taking this Monday morning off from the oil shop in order to record the second part of our series entitled The Tale of the Double Double Cross, What Happened to Cliff Lambert. I seriously had to force Fred out of the bedroom because he wouldn't stop barking at the trash people, at the

landscaping people, at everybody, which my window overlooks and he can hear everything.

We're lucky that we don't have to hear it in the recordings and I feel very fortunate that

it is definitely quiet except with Fred in here.

I hope all of you are doing well and had a fun Sunday.

I have nothing to do with football anymore ever since I've been separated and divorced.

The Super Bowl can just suck it, especially the Miami Dolphins.

I left off the last episode with having introduced you to most of the characters in the story,

and I was just about to introduce you to the prosecutor in the case,

and where she is going to take this long and winding story over the course of the next almost decade.

Her life was literally consumed by this case for years. So she isn't exactly free to talk about everything,

but she definitely gives us an idea of how when one person is missing or harmed or murdered,

it has so many lasting effects on so many people for the

rest of their lives. And this is one of them. And you know, as I record this, we're getting on

into a week since the mother of today's show host, Savannah Gunthery, had gone missing and has

allegedly been kidnapped. It's one of the most confusing and

bizarre stories that have come our way in quite some time. I'm waiting on pins and needles for this

story to develop and once there are some definitive answers, we might talk about that in an

upcoming episode if you all are interested.

I know I don't do these things in real time, and it's just because I take a lot of time to write these episodes,

and by the time I actually finish the stories that are big news as I'm writing kind of fade off into the sunset.

Hopefully this one sticks around a little bit and has a happy ending.
