My guest Morgan has a husband who calls her beautiful, tells her to just relax while he handles everything, and works a job he doesn't love because, in his words, I'm going into battle for something worth protecting.

But three years ago, he was verbally abusive, couldn't hold the job, and told her almost daily that he wanted a divorce.

Morgan was so exhausted from carrying everything,

the kids, the bills, his emotional stress, trying to keep it all together, that she finally broke.

She took their three children and moved in with her parents. What happened between that moment

and today is the reason I wanted Morgan on this podcast because

the skills she learned didn't just save her marriage. They transformed her from an exhausted,

podcast. Thank you so much. So grateful to be here. So excited to have you. All right. Actually,

let's start at the very beginning. What attracted you to your husband? How did you know he was the one?

Yeah. So we met in college. and I am not one to notice a man in another relationship.

Pretty much they don't exist to me.

But while he was dating his girlfriend, I didn't talk to him or approach him.

But I remember telling my best friend, if they ever break up, I really hope I get a chance to date him

because he just looks like

he's so much fun. And we were in the same ministry team and he was the only person I knew

who was trying to start ministry and start devotionals with the other boys on college campus.

So he would start Bible studies in their dorms. And while everybody else, they showed up and they looked good at chapel or whatever, and then behind the scenes, they're partying. It's just very fake. He was the only one that felt like it was real through and through. In all of our conversations, as I saw him in the cafeteria, he just seemed like the realest person I've ever met, Very to the point, very deep, very direct.

You have a discernment that just really stood out to me. And it still does. We ended up having

breakfast together three times a week right off the bat. So it was nice. The opportunity just sort
