A lot of people ask me, Marie, what does a typical day in your life look like?

And here's the truth.

None of them look the same.

I'm very unique like that.

A lot of it depends on what season it is, both weather-wise and just the season of my

life.

And it also always depends on what my primary project is at that particular time.

And here's what I can tell you.

There are three things that I never do every single day.

And these three things make me weirdly productive.

They help keep me passionate and happy, yes, even after over 20 years in business.

So let's dive in.

Number one, I never start my day without what I call a success plan.

And you might be saying, Marie, what the heck is a success plan?

Let me tell you.

It is way better than what most people use, which is a to-do list.

So I'm looking at mine right now.

I put my daily success plan on a simple notebook.

It can be a cheapy $2 notebook, one that you get from Staples or any office supply store.

You do not need an expensive or fancy planner if it makes you happy.
