After a while, his tone started to change, and this guy started messaging me things like,

well, your ex actually sounds like a nice guy. You probably shouldn't have left him. Are you sure

that you should have divorced him? And then he was saying, like, are you sure that you should be dating

so soon after divorce? Maybe it's too soon for you to date. Maybe you shouldn't be dating guys.

And I just thought that was really, really weird. And I suddenly thought, that's weird. Could this possibly be my ex-husband catfishing me?

I'm Jamie Beebe. And I'm Jake Tiptula. On today's episode of Strictly stalking, we're speaking with Jordan, who says divorce didn't end her marriage. It just moved online.

What began in her early 20s as a whirlwind romance quickly shifted to control, isolation,

and fear. After surviving a mystery illness and painful divorce, Jordan thought she was finally free.

Within weeks, the messages began, texts, emails, fake accounts, an ex-husband impersonating

another man to lure her into conversation.

Disturbing packages, wedding photos sent years later, claims that God ordained them to be together,

and eventually a car she believes was following her through her own neighborhood.

For more than a decade, he surfaced whenever she was most vulnerable until she finally drew a legal line that couldn't be crossed.

What would you like to share about your life before you met this man?

So before I met my stalker, I was a senior in college living down in

North Carolina. And I had recently gotten out of a two-year relationship and was just living life,

single, enjoying my last year of college, hanging out with my friends,

and I decided to try dating again. I had just come from a pretty unhealthy relationship.

And so this time, I was looking for someone who seemed to have good morals, wouldn't cheat on me,
