Last week my mother passed away after five long years of living with cancer.

like this has to happen, I'm glad that it happened the way that it did. But still, it left me completely

emotionally drained and exhausted.

Even work that you love is so hard to face after something like that.

And although I experienced what is undoubtedly going to be one of the worst days of my life last week.

I was still surrounded by so much love because folks on this network jumped in to help me.

Now in six years of doing this podcast I've only missed one

episode and even on that week I still put up an episode of the Overshare podcast.

It's been a somewhat unhealthy point of pride with me for a long time,

but with all that I went through I simply couldn't put together what I needed to put together

to have it ready for today. But as soon as they heard about this tragedy,

everyone on the network came forward and asked me what they could do. And a few different groups

from around the network got together and recorded games for me to use in the tumultuous period right now where I'm simply too emotional to work and probably in a few weeks and months when this gap in my ability to record leaves me without
