Welcome, friends, to episode number 323 of the way I heard it. This one is called

0:07.9

Reguflation and the right to try. Yes, Chuck, it's true. I went and made up a word, and God

0:14.8

willing, we'll shoehorn it into the lexicon with a little help from this podcast. I think it's a good word, Mike. It obviously,

0:23.3

obviously is a combination of the word regulation and the other word inflation, putting them

0:29.7

together to form reguflation, which says that these two things combined are worse than one thing

0:35.5

1:37.9

and individuals right to earn an honest living as a freelancer. It's a topic that keeps coming

1:43.5

back up because this pro act is now

1:46.6

in Congress and making its way through those hallowed halls. And rightfully, I think, Chuck,

1:53.7

scaring the hell out of a lot of people who are simply trying to make a living, nearly 70 million

1:58.6

people freelancer right now being affected by this thing.

2:02.7

Well, they will be terribly affected if it becomes law. Right now, you know, the Pro Act is basically

2:08.8

AB5 on steroids. And to hear Akash talk about it, he says, if it is past, it's going to be even
