All right, here we go. Welcome in everyone to this week's edition of the Deer Hunter

podcast Friday, January 19th. We'll do a little update here on the studio, and then we'll get

right into this. I'm joined this week by my good friend johnny

stewart john's a die hard bow hunter he's consistent big buck killer he's like team hardern

bucks out there just pounding around on public land most of you guys that are listening to this probably know of John, but if you don't,

you're going to know, you're going to get an opportunity here this week to know who John is

and what he's up to.

Well, we're just kind of revisiting the wrap-up of the deer season.

Actually, John's on his way home from a hunting trip while we recorded this,

so he's still actively going at it. My deer season's wrapped up, and frankly, I'm kind of,

I don't know. I'm torn. I'm glad that we don't go into January, because I don't think my my wife or my job and

employer and anybody could tolerate another month of my deer hunting antics but boy oh boy I was

driving around yesterday morning we had a bunch of fresh snow and I was cutting some tracks and seeing some deer and i was just

like oh man i'd like to be deer hunting right now so i'm kind of glad that we're done it limits

my ability to self-destruct but uh anyway anyhow little update here in a studio.

So coming to you from Northern Michigan, it's been snowing for like a week straight, really.

My yard, we've got, I don't know exactly how much snow we got because it's blown around so much.

We had 40 mile an hour winds on Friday night and Saturday,

and that Sunday got a bunch of crazy wind again, and it just snowed and snowed and snowed.

I had like a 40-inch drift in front of my garage. It took me all day. It took me eight and a half
