1:16.0	we've been interested in for a while. Having grown up in the area, it's something we heard of and never really
1:22.0	experienced in the way that she describes in this interview.
1:26.0	Yes, indeed. She's great. Stephanie is an author, a journalist, an educator, and she's a historian.
1:32.0	And all of that experience is put to good use as she expertly weaves this fascinating narrative
1:38.0	about the most notorious district in Boston. She introduces us to the politics, the performers, the gangsters.
1:46.0	Most importantly though, she introduces us to the residents and the neighborhoods who were affected by this, who lived through it all.
1:52.0	She really shows us that it was more than just an adult entertainment district.
1:56.0	It really was an experiment that not only became a cultural shift for Boston, but an example, good or bad, for other cities across the country.
