Like it would have to then only be in one of ours, but like the lighting would have to be super even around it. Our hands disappear. So today's episode is pivoted from what it was about to be an hour ago because

I had a different topic. And then I chose a different topic last minute. Yeah, it's a whole thing.

Yeah. So basically what had happened was it was a lawsuit. Like there was like this bakery lawsuit thing.

And then I couldn't find the complaint. And then it was like a whole other thing. And then I and then I was like well we just covered the cookie thing and I really don't want to cover another bakery lawsuit and then it was just it was a lot and I was kind of stressed about it so then I latched on to something that's gone viral on my for you page this wedding that it's actually on many people's for you page it's like very very very very, very bizarre. And it's not even like a story.

I guess it is a story. It's weird. Okay. This episode is going to be weird. Okay, it's drop in. Okay. Lily left me unsupervised. I'm still recovering from last episode. Okay, but we'll start off with a regular topic first. And then we'll end it with the weird little viral wedding. So the first one is actually something that a lot of people have been tagging us on TikTok. And it was

basically a creator named Ayan. I hope that I'm saying that right. And she goes by Ayan Broomfield on

TikTok and Instagram and everything. And she went to a place called Hair Queen L.A. And Hair Queen

L.A. is a place that is pretty famous. I mean, they have 323,000 TikTok followers, but then they also do people like Chrison Rock's hair, and they have human hair wigs, and they do extensions, and they do like a full service situation. That is very well known in the area. So, Ayan went there and, uh, judging by the fact that we have an episode on this, it did not go super well, okay?

Yeah, it never does when we're covering the hair things.

Now, what's weird is that Ayan had been there before, but this time she went in for tape and extension.

So before the other times that she's gone in, she says that it went fine.

She had great experiences and that's why she went back. But this experience was not great and we'll let her explain it. What would you do if you went to a salon and a stylist bleached your hair without your consent? Yesterday, I was here in L.A. and I went to this salon. I had been here many times before and I had a fine experience, but this time I was going in for tapins. I went into the salon and we started looking at different hair textures and all these different things and they said,

okay, yeah, you're a good candidate for the tapins. I wanted to do a little bit of a longer tape-in. I said, cool. So we started to get into the plan of it all. My hair is like a dark, ashier brown and usually bundles are a natural black. So what I have done in the past with these professional stylus is we just put like a little gloss over my hair. It's a semi-permanent natural black gloss. It washes off in like eight to ten washes. It's semi-permanent. Let me just preface all of this by saying my hair is already extremely fragile. I've been trying to grow up after the past three years and the past six months have been so good for me. It's starting to grow.

It's starting to get stronger. I've been doing my oil treatments. Like at this point, I'm really starting to feel a little bit more confident in my hair. And even literally days ago, started telling my friend, oh my gosh, maybe in a couple months I can start wearing my hair out naturally again. So I just want to say that to give a little bit of context of where I am mentally right now. Anyways, I wanted a super versatile blowout look with the tapins.

Everything was fine.

And I prefaced, again, I preface, preface, preface, semi-permanent, just a gloss, like a little glossy over my hair. And the thing is, I asked for that because I've gotten that in the past before. Usually I go in the bowl, it's like a five-minute thing. She just puts the color in my hair. I sit for five minutes. It's not supposed to stay on long. Whatever. And I knew that this is what I needed because, again, I've had tapins before and this is what we did. So off the bat, she's saying that the hair is usually black. And her hair is like a brown, like a matching brown. So she needs to go darker. Yeah. So she needs to go darker, but they put bleach in.

Right, right. She agreed. She was like, yeah, okay, I'm just going to put a little bit of color on top. We're not going to leave it on for more than 15 minutes. I said, okay, cool.

I was working, I had things to submit, so I kind of just associated.

I sat in the chair for about 25 to 30 minutes, and she never came and checked on me once.

Now, if you're putting color in someone's hair, I feel like you need to be like checking and making sure everything's okay.

Also, now that I think about it, she didn't even do a test strand, like just slapped it into my hair. So the Silas finally comes back after about 30 minutes and says okay, like it's time to wash it out. As we get to the bowl, I'm realizing that my scalp is starting to burn a little bit and it hurts. And I'm kind of like, but again, I trust the process.
