Jan Yacalik has been following this issue that we're going to talk about today, passionately for years.

Now he's written a book documenting what he's learned from his research, from reporters and whistleblowers, and even one alleged victim.

The book is called Killed to Order, China's organ harvesting industry and the true

nature of America's biggest adversary. It documents the practice of stealing organs from

political prisoners. Here's the interview. Communist China has a very unique, extreme form of organ trafficking that I call kill to order because it's actually highly descriptive.

And let me briefly explain how it works.

So we hear these urban legends or urban myths about people, you know, basically some sort of trafficking ring grabbing someone.

They wake up on ice with a slit in their side. They're missing a kidney or something like that.

That things of this nature do happen. There are black market organ rings in different parts of the world.

But in China it happens at a whole different scale.

And you kind of you need a state actor to be involved, you need someone who can actually push massive coercive power through a population.

You need to be able to dehumanize a sizable group of people, i.e. through propaganda, basically convince the bulk of the population

that some group is, you know, less than human or particularly bad and deserves to be harmed

potentially. And the third party is you have to have the power to be able to incarcerate a very

large group of people. And this is what the Chinese Communist Party did with the Falun Gong spiritual discipline back in 1999.

Prior to 1999, there had been very little organ transplantation in China.

It was happening at a low level to the best of our knowledge.

We have some anecdotes of actually people being killed for organs and so forth.

But when they de-first through mass propaganda dehumanized 70 to 100 million people,

which was by government estimate the number of Falun Gong practitioners that there were.
