Grumpy old geeks, a weekly talk show hosted by Brian Schultmeister and Jason DeFilippo,

0:15.1

discussing the finer points of what went wrong on the internet and who's to blame.

0:24.0

Welcome to Grumpy old geeks, I'm Jason DeFilippo.

0:26.0

And I'm Brian Schultmeister. I've got a bit of follow-up.

0:29.6

Kajmir Hill finished her series about cutting out the big five of tech giants.

0:34.1

We fell a little bit behind, so she did her one with Apple, which was interesting because like

0:38.7

any techie person, they tend to use Apple products. So iPhones, iPads, Macintoshes, all that sort of

1:19.3

all five. So instead of going from Apple to say an Android or to a Mac to a PC using Microsoft

1:27.0

Windows, she tried to find alternatives to those systems to use. Now, I personally would have

1:32.4

liked to hear a Mac user's experience with Android, living on Android and Windows for a week.

1:37.7

So I didn't get that. I was a bit bummed out by that, but I understand why she did it because

1:42.1

if you read the week, the next one, I cut the big five tech giants for my life. It was hell.

1:47.6

You understand why she did it because she needed to basically have a lot of prep time to be
