She was once committed to Arkansas and then came the chance to help build something new.

Ever since I was young girl growing up, I wanted to go to an HVCU. I thought it was just something important that, you know, I see a lot of value in.

So I really wanted to be a part of an HBCU, but obviously they didn't have gymnastics at the time.

And so when the opportunity came up that they were starting the first ever program, I knew that I wanted to be a part of that team.

That decision led to history, national titles, All-American honors, and a perfect 10.

It's not even one of my better routines that I have done. Yeah, it really wasn't. Like,

I kind of, I caught the bar a little weird on my

overshoot, but at the end of the day, the judges saw it was perfect, so, you know, I took it.

But for Morgan, it was never just about the score. Just being able to get out on the floor
