Ordering food in a restaurant can be an exciting experience,

especially when you're traveling in the U.S.

When you go to a restaurant in the U.S.,

you'll usually get a menu that's divided into sections.

Appetizers, entrees, sides, and desserts.

Appetizers are small dishes served before the main course.

Entres are your main dishes.

Sides are small portions of your meal, like fries or salad.

And desserts are sweet treats to end your meal.

Menus can also have terms like specials, which the chef recommends that day.
