Welcome in, everyone, to this week's edition of the Deer Hunter podcast.

Friday, October 20th.

Dang, that kind of sucks.

Like, well, yes and no, right?

So, two-thirds of the month of October is gone, but it's the lower quality

hunting two thirds. The highest quality hunting one third is knocking upon our door. This weekend,

it pretty much starts and we are in the thick of it, really for the next, we'll call it the next four weeks is pretty much what

everybody the four weeks that every deer hunter lives for it's the white tail rut it's it's here so we

are definitely in the i would say entering the pre rut phase scrapes are going to be

hotter than hot coming up here and probably this week.

I'm relocating some camera assets. I'm actually adding some cameras to my arsenal here this week.

I am struggling and breaking down new ground in real time hundreds of thousands

of acres is proving to be a little bit difficult. If I had time on my side, it wouldn't be too

bad. Like if I could get up in the morning and go scout all day, I'd be in the chips. But that's

not the case. I'm working two basically

full-time jobs. And, you know, I got out once this week and I did scout a piece and I found

some buck beds and some scrapes. And I have a pretty good idea of how to approach this piece.

But it's not great. I need to find better.
