Good evening and welcome to tonight's episode of the Mary Trump Show strategy sessions where

my guests and I try to help people understand what's at stake in the November 2022 midterms and

try to figure out how Democrats can win and hopefully win big tonight. I'm so pleased to welcome

as my guest to brilliant comedians and satirists who you might best know as the good liars.

Jason Selvig and Avram Steve Lardice, thank you so much for being here. Thanks for having us.

I've seen probably most of your videos and I've been a little concerned that you might be running

out of material. So I'm sure you've never heard that but it is honestly it's overwhelming.

So part of I have a lot of questions for you about how you decide where to go and the people you

decide to talk to. But before we get to that, one of the things that fascinates me about your work

is that you come across as approaching these people with a real seriousness and a real curiosity

into what they're thinking. It doesn't come across as mockery. Which first of all, I salute you.

I don't know that I could do that but secondly, the reason I think that's important,

you know, beyond the comedy and beyond the, I don't know, giving the rest of us a chance that maybe

not feels so bad about ourselves is the fact that these are real human beings who

make up a significant minority of this country and we need to figure out what to do about that. So

Jason will start with you. How do you approach this? It feels like you guys are walking a

type, you make it look easy, don't get me wrong. But when I step back it's sort of like you're

walking a type rope which is quite impressive and feels scary. Yeah, when we go to these events,

we always try and approach it with a sense of curiosity. We want to know what people think and

we want to know, you know, some of the more out there theories, you know, of course you can hear

like JFK Jr.'s alive and you're like, okay, we know that that's not true but if you ask a

couple follow up questions, maybe you can get to the bottom of why this person believes it or how
