Jim Hill. Here's an excerpt. Depending on who you ask, it seems that Ryan and Jeremy's parents

were actually set up on a blind date by Walt Disney himself, so in many ways the very existence

of Backside of Magic can be credited to Walt.

Clearly this was not his crowning achievement.

Here about how the show's host nearly featured prominently in the founding of MGM Studios.

After Michael Eisner saw Ryan and Jeremy's Mime Act in the late 1980s, he decided he really wanted this in the new park.

But in the end, the show's body humor and callous disregard for the safety of its audience

just wasn't the right fit. But in true Disney fashion, though, no good idea ever dies, and that

show was eventually reworked into what we now know today as the popcorn cart

next to the animation courtyard.

The book also takes you behind the scenes for a glimpse into what goes on in creating an episode

of Backside of Magic.

What a lot of people don't realize is that Ryan and Jeremy have an older brother, Ray,

who handles the business side of the podcast.

In fact, around the time of episode seven or so, Ray actually left his day job and moved

across country with them to Oregon. The three of them now lived together in a thriving

boisenberry farm. They walk into a town each week to record the podcast at the local library
