This will probably be the last episode of the year.

The production office is shutting down for the holidays.

So let's start off with, I don't know, this is a mixed week.

Okay, I want to start out. I wish everyone a happy holiday season. Um, happy Hanukkah. I know

it's past, but I hope you enjoyed it. If that's what you celebrate. Merry Christmas. Happy

Kwanza. Hell, I wish you a, uh, happy festivus if that's what you're into um that's the good part

it's the holiday season the the sad part um obviously the whole nation is is covered with uh grief

um covered by the paula the newtown shootings um we don't know why i don't think we'll

ever know why some nutcase shoots 20 kids and six teachers and his mother and you know the

the aftermath is a lot of talk and if you say that well alonzo you're just another talker shut the hell up

go ahead i mean you have the right to say that um i i got to put my opinion out there uh

baroque obama it is time for action i just keep thinking about sean connery's line from the

movie the untouchables what are you prepared to, what are you prepared to do? What are you willing to do?

Listen, people, there has to be some kind of ban on assault rifles. And I'm going to talk about that more.

But now's the time. And Barack Obama has the political capital to do it. I mean, he has the support of the nation.

It was, it's sad with,

you know, I'm not discounting the senseless murders in Chicago and so much other gun violence.

But, you know, a mass shooting at an elementary school is what brought the nation to focus,

that we need to do something. And Barack Obama, to his credit, he showed up.

He made powerful speeches.
