Welcome back to another episode of the Draft Capital podcast, part of the 32 Beatwriter podcast network.

T.J. Wingered here with you with our first glance towards the 27 NFL draft, giving

you a way too early one- round mock for your enjoyment this weekend.

And just to preface off the top, this is like, I didn't make the draft order.

I'm not making any declarative statements about who wins what division, who is when the Super Bowl.

We're far from that.

And also like the 32 names you're going to see here.

If you want to see, I thought about doing a second round, honestly, which which I might be a stick over that if you want to see a second round continuation we'll see how this video does at the like button comment that you want that but there are like 32 other names I definitely could have talked about but this is not like set in stone these are the first rounders you know 12 months from now far from that these are just kind of, almost look at this is like the first 32 names. I'm probably going to watch some tape on, which I haven't even done that yet. Some of these guys I have reports on because I thought they would declare last year, I thought there was something interesting that might have them declare. Or just because I watched enough college football and I'm somewhat familiar with them, at least from the broadcast side of it, not diving into the all 22. So 32 names, but this is like far from like the final like, absolutely these guys are first rounders. And then again, let me know if you would want to see a second round continuation, want to hear some more thoughts about some other players in this like way too early stage of the 2027 draft cycle. Awesome. But we'll kick things off with obviously a very easy one. If the Arizona Cardinals are picking number one, that's going to tell me everything I need to know. I don't think they should have taken Carson Beck at 65. Arch Manning for me right now would be the number one overall player on my board. End of the season really, really strong last year. I know, like, there was a lot of hype for him at the beginning of last season. Wasn't a great start. The difference is, as opposed to entering last season with just hype, he's entering this season with a great amount of momentum and a great second half of last season. And really kind of from like week to week to week week Sam Houston, then getting into the start of the SEC play. And then, of course, it all culminates in that ballgame against Michigan, like just week by week, kept getting better and better and better. So we're going into this second season of him being the Texas QB with more momentum than just hype like it was last year. Miami Dolphins, this is just where Jeremiah Smith's going to go.
