And time for another collab two-round

mock draft. And today we have a man who needs no introduction, one of the sharpest guys

when it comes to covering the NFL draft, really covering the NFL as a whole guy I've been

looking up to for really the reason I even got into this business and started talking NFL ball.

So if you hate what I have to say, you can blame our guest today, Mr. Mike Renner, also noted Golden Domer, not only fan, but a lump. So always happy to welcome a fighting Irishman to the show. Mike, how you been, man? I'm doing great. Thanks for having me on. I've yet to do a two-round mock. So I'm looking forward to doing round two. I'm curious where you're going to go with some of these picks because I think this year's order is just like about us up in the air as I've ever seen. And it's it's interesting. Once we got into the point of the year where I stopped doing just one round, start to do a two. And then now we're at the point where like if I'm doing it solo, I'll do three. it really gives you a different look at the first round for how you want to stack position groups.

Like your round one priority is versus what you can get later on. So in this year's class, it feels like that 25 to 75 windows, a really strong bucket. And then you get like 76 to 125, a little bit of the half tier down, but like it's a different bucket that all have a lot of guys that make sense in that range, that late third, early fourth. So you mentioned it, it's your first two round mock.

And that was the case last year. And hold on, before we, before we get into this, we just got to take a little bit of a victory lap here. Some of the notable wins. I get emails every once in a while from our, our sponsor, a player profiler about this. but we had Loveland going before Warren, which I know that was big in your rankings, but that was far from consensus

at the time we did the mock last year. We had Jackson Darpy QDooey 2, late round 1, pretty much the exact spot. And then something that we felt like, oh, well, maybe this won't happen, but oh, well, it happened here in this mock. And it was ultimately a reflection of where you had Chador Sanders in your rankings and pretty close to mind. We introduced Sanders falling out of the first round, something that we were like, ah, that's not very

So without further ado, Mr. Runner, let's jump into it. And we are using a new mock draft simulator today, the PFS and mock draft sim. So, Renner, apologies to make you use something that was not something you helped build and whatnot and we're a vocal spokesperson for.

But that being said, I'm going to have you lead us off with the odds. Obviously, we're at a real easy spot at this point with number one overall. But I'm really curious what you want to do at three. But I'm good to put in Mendoza here at one. Fernando Mendoza going one. And yeah, this one season. Yeah, I feel bad for ragers fans but that's why I

like doing two round mock so we'll get to 36 and we'll be able to actually give you some interesting

insight here at two I'm going to go predictive and as much as we can I'd be curious kind of your

thoughts on this this feels like a draft where in most years you get to like pick 40 50 and like

teams boards will kind of branch out into various directions this year feels like like it happens at 20 or 25. So I've been kind of struggling with the predictive versus the what you would do because this feels like a year where you get to pick 20 and GMs are starting to be like, yeah, well, you know, it's just whatever fits our team because the player value 20 to 75, 25, 75 is pretty similar. So all that said, though,

I'm going to go the predictive route here, at least at two. It does feel like it's going to be Rvel Reese. I'd love to hear your thoughts kind of about Rvel and this fit with the Jets. Feels like they've kind of cleared the way for a needed edge. And that does see, you know, Rvel Reese to the combine kind of declaring himself as an edge rusher.
