Good afternoon, Melissa, on this, you know, we're recording the week before Thanksgiving.

So this is a time when family is gathering for a lot of us, even though this will not air until after Thanksgiving.

It certainly will be in anticipation of the end of the year's celebrations, which are similar.

That's right. And I actually love the topic we're going to talk about today for the

holiday period because when this airs, it'll be right at the end of December. And a lot of people

do wind up with a little bit of downtime at that time of year. So it's a really good time to do

some reflecting and make new practices. And so that just is a perfect fit. Yes, I think it's not

uncommon for people to set writing goals as one of their New Year's resolutions. So that makes

complete sense. And today, that's exactly what we want to do. We've had so many people ask us

if we would do an episode on how to grow as a writer if you're

already an adult.

Not trying to raise writers, but what about for your own enjoyment or even for the opportunity

to earn a little money or to write that novel idea that's going around in your brain.
