Hey, everybody, welcome back to the Bridge Boys podcast. Today, I'm sitting down with Jesse Baldwin.

Jesse was only 12 years old when a 42-year-old teacher began abusing her at her small private Christian school. This story is a little bit different than the majority of the stories I've

covered on the show thus far, and that both the victim and the abuser were female. This unique

perspective that Jesse brings this episode is sure to be encouraging to many who have probably

found themselves in similar positions and to anyone who's experienced abuse in general. Let's get

Jesse Baldwin. All right, everybody, welcome back to the show. Jesse, thank you so much for

joining me. Yeah, thanks for having me, Eric. Yeah, I'm glad we get to chat. I know we talked a couple

months ago, I think now, kind of having a precursor of this conversation discussing your story,

and I'm glad people are going to get to finally hear it.

I usually start these conversations going back to early memories.

How did you get connected to the church?

What was early life like?

And when we had that initial call, you said that

your earliest memory at around four years old was a situation of abuse. So I want to kind of start

the conversation there and kind of let that be the foundation for everything that happened after.
