Welcome in, everyone, to this week's edition of the Deer Hunter podcast Friday, October 13th, and you are in the studio.

A little short intro here before we get right into it.

This is the first episode that was recorded at our deer camp this past weekend i'm joined by my good friend jordan brown producer and host of

michigan out of doors television and our uncle lew stealthy stealthy uncle lew we uh jordan and lou and i

stayed in my uh... nineteen seventy three airstream last weekend out in the state forest of northern Michigan off the grid.

And we were going to do a tent, but because of electronics and a variety of reasons, call them for rain, I opted to go last minute with the trailer.

And I'm really glad we did, as you'll hear in this podcast, just to set the stage for you.

We are Friday night we hunted and Jordan filmed me and I shot a deer.

And then Saturday morning morning we were going to hunt, but we got up and it was raining hard.

And we opted to do a little recovery as far as sleep deprivation goes.

So we slept in, got up about, it was raining and it was really

overcast. It was still dark when we got up, but it was probably like 7.30, maybe even cresting

8 o'clock, got up, fired up coffee, and I set the podcast equipment up, and Jordan and Lou and I

over coffee Saturday morning sat down I mean we

had already been bulk shooting the shit for half an hour or an hour getting the stuff set up but

then we got up and recording and you'll hear the rain coming on and off we we had it set up right

outside the camper underneath the awning and it was just picture perfect man 10 out of 10

i i recommend deer camp to everybody like i was i was just thinking about this before i started
