Let me jump into a question that, well, it's not, I don't know if it's directly addressed

in your book, maybe it is, but it's one that really trips a lot of people up.

And it's this.

It's that if you read the Book of Mormon, and this almost ties to Grant Palmer's thesis

about what he claims to be the origins of the Book of Mormon, which is that, you know,

we took a lot of the Bible, that Joseph Smith took a lot of the Bible, that he listened

to a lot of sermons that were happening in the Bernover district, and he sort of took

whatever, took whatever Christian religious doctrinal and theological sensibilities that

he had, and he munged all that together into the Book of Mormon.

And what's highly suspicious for a lot of people is that so many of the doctrines they

got developed after the Book of Mormon, by Joseph Smith, things like, you know, the endowment,

temple marriage, baptisms for the dead, polygamy, they, you know, or even just the nature

of God, that instead of God being more trinitarian, that God, that Jesus was also a God and was

separate and unique, that someday we can become gods, the stuff out of the King followed

this course, all that comes later.

And so for someone who wanted to say the Book of Mormon was just made up by Joseph, they
