Summary

What do your ancestors have to do with your intuition? Everything. In this episode, I sit down with intuitive Natalie Miles to discuss how the unresolved trauma from our ancestral lineage shows up in our lives, how to become aware of it and bring about healing. We dive into what to do if you have shame around your ancestors, don’t know them or are angry about what happened to them. We also discuss energetic sovereignty and how to tell if you’re picking up on your own energy or someone else’s. This is a great episode to dive deeper into your healing work and realize how it’s all interconnected!

My name is Sahara, I am a best-selling author, been the host of this podcast for three

0:24.8

and a half years now in the founder of Rose Gold Goddesses and something that I am super

0:29.3

passionate about and has been a major part of my own personal healing is connecting to

0:33.7

my ancestors.

0:34.7

So, I've shared about it on different podcasts, which I'll link in the show notes if you

0:39.5

want to dive deeper into my story, but really understanding, you know, my roots and my

0:45.2

background and why my parents raised me the way that they did, the pros and the cons

0:50.5

of it really brought me into this deeper sense of connection and understanding with my ancestors

0:56.3

and I'm seeing so many people awaken to this as well.

0:59.9

people that came before us.

And what I've seen is that a lot of people feel a very strong disconnect from their ancestors,

1:15.3

especially because their ancestors may have done things that they're not proud of.

1:20.3

And I think that we can all relate to this from a certain extent, whether our ancestors

1:25.8

were colonizers, which I know many people are struggling with knowing that their ancestors

1:31.2

maybe were, you know, colonizing a different country or practicing slavery or something

1:37.3

really heavy or dark or maybe your ancestors were involved with the patriarchy.
