chapter 7 verses 18 and 19 the apostle Paul perfectly describes our inner struggle as he describes his.

We want to live in a way that honors God, yet don't we often find ourselves mired in old struggles and temptations and we even begin to question

if we ever really understood or received salvation at all.

If this sounds familiar, hear me friend. The grace that saved you

initially is enough to sustain you eternally.

trusting the Holy Spirit to get our hearts because we know when we get Romans God gets us.

I invite you to use your imagination

to envision a prison, large imposing structure.

Maybe with two or three stories tall, complete with guards and barbed wire, the whole works.

And picture the main entrance, the entrance to the prison.

And maybe you can watch in your mind and see the gates open.

And a gentleman steps out.

He's not wearing prison clothing, just wearing, I don't know, street clothes.

He's a bit elderly.
