On this episode of the Multie-emory Podcast, we're doing something a little bit different.

We occasionally invite guests on to our show, usually to ask people about a book that they have

coming out or asking people about their expertise on a particular topic.

Something we don't often have the opportunity to do is actually take a deep dive into a guest's personal story.

Their superhero origin story, if you will. There are so many forces that end up shaping our values and so many pathways that lead us into the relationships that we end up in and there's a lot of really unique and fascinating backstories out there.

For this episode I had the great pleasure of doing a one-on-one interview with Michelle

High. Michelle is a Portlander and the second generation Asian American behind the popular

Instagram account Polyamorous while Asian. She seeks to spread awareness around non-monogamy and help affirm those practicing non-monogamy, specifically by POC folks.

Bear in mind that we recorded this interview back in October of 2020, so our discussion of current events is a few months behind.

That being said, I loved having this conversation.
