I think of like 1st Peter, right?

He says judgment must begin at the household of God.

And if it begins with us, what will be the outcome of the ungodly and the center?

I think of Jesus called in Matthew 18 to when your brother, you have a fault against your brother to go directly to that brother and deal with that thing confrontational with that brother.

He even says to like his disciples, those who are following him, that no, I'm not saying

your righteousness needs to be less than the Pharisees. If your righteousness does not exceed

that of the Pharisees, this isn't a call to like lower somehow the standard. And what is so profoundly beautiful about that

is he lived it out even to his death. One of the past that we preached through Luke at church

I was at Iowa and one of the passages stood out to me,

I don't know why it never hit me, but it's Jesus in the garden, they come to arrest him.

You know, Peter Hood, so Peter does what the hood people do.

We're like, oh, it's time to do battle.

Time to rumble, yeah.

And literally, just a pastor before, you know, Jesus even gave a freedom to, like, go grab the piece.

And I love the fact that, like, they grabbed two of them.
