And so I can't I'll never forget it he he we almost didn't get the deal done and he's sitting in my office which is now I guess technically his office because he owned it owned the building and everything then and and he said to me congratulations. We got the deal done.

I didn't think we were going to get it done,

but congratulations.

You're now a millionaire.

And let me give you a little piece of advice.

Which I didn't want to tell him I was already

a millionaire at that point but you know whatever this

guy's worth a hundred million dollars plus I'm gonna listen to what he says he said

he said to me it's a lot easier to make a million dollars than it is to hold

on to a million dollars than it is to hold on to a million dollars and that just

scared me like it really resonated with me and and I was sitting there like this

was after the wire transfers had gone through and everything and sure enough he was right

he said he said a lot of people are going to be pitching you investment ideas and investment

schemes and I drive a 2006 Chevy Tahoe. So I drive a I mean that's an 18 year old car. So I still drive old stuff. You know my home's paid for, I have no debt. And now, now here's the thing. I'm sure if I did

some smarter stuff and leverage some things, my net worth would be two or three X what it is

today, especially over the last 10 years.

But man, I've never lost a night's sleep. And so there's something to be said for that,

especially, you know, with the roller coaster that we're kind of going through now and who knows what the next couple of years

is going to bring us.
