Hey Katie, how are you today?

I'm great.

You know, it's kind of a different world now that we live in and people are all scared about, you know,

encryption and who's got access to your stuff.

I'm really excited that people have a general

awareness now that bad things are out there and can happen. Yeah and and

sadly there's a lot of people making their living off doing really bad things.

So the rest of us need to be on alert.

So we thought we'd take an episode to talk about all the ways you can lock down your technology.

We're going to cover iOS and Mac, your home network,

you know, the whole enchilada, as they say. And you know, one thing I'd like you to take from

this show when you're done listening to it is not only walking down your own

stuff but helping out your family and friends around you because there's a whole lot of people not listening to the show that really should be listening to the show.

You know I was just going to say this because I bet a lot of our Mac Power users

listeners are already doing a lot of this but I bet you they're going to learn a

thing or two from the show and I hope you walk away from the show with at least a

couple of new ideas of things that you can implement.

But then when you're done implementing it on your own setup, then take it a step further and talk to your

spouse, talk to your kids, talk to your parents and your grandparents, and see what you can do to help
