Yeah, and I think the the Doug news we kind of knew it's certainly interesting, but the Jim Schwartz news is a little surprising and interesting and certainly opens up some other questions.

So a very newsy Saturday before the last game of the season.

Yeah, it is and I guess we'll start with Jim Schwartz because that's more of the surprise.

I mean everything had been trending toward Doug Peterson returning.

So Jim Schwartz, 54 years old,

he's going to take next season off,

which he's done before.

I mean, what was it, 2015, he was working in the league office out of coaching.

I think Jim's a pretty good coach and

this is one of those situations where can the Eagles do better than Jim Schwartz maybe but they can do worse and I don't think people realize that

Jim Schwartz a pretty good coach is the perfect coach? No is he stubborn at times sure but he pretty good and I think what I used to say this about Andy Reed people you know accused him of being too stubborn and

was really just a guy that believed in what he did and and was committed to to

what he did and I think there's kind of a fine line as Carson likes to say between being too stubborn and you know being

committed to your your stuff and your way of doing things Jim for considering what he had the pieces that he had over these five years.

I think in your story, you know, ninth in points allowed over the last five years

with how many, how many elite players?
