Hello Heroes and welcome to another exciting year of One Shot. I'm James Damato, your host and game master, and folks, this is the week of GenCon, which means we have made it to six years of the One Shot Podcast.

One Shot is officially the longest job that I have ever held.

Of course, I didn't start doing it full time until about three years ago,

so I've still got a long way to go on that front.

But it's been a wild ride as a commitment.

Doing the show I've made so many friends and had so many wonderful life-changing experiences.

It's amazing to me that some of the moments that I've enjoyed the most over the last couple years are recorded,

and I can revisit them any time I want.

And because of the network, we've been able to give opportunities to so many other people as well,

whether they're designers who had their games featured on our shows.

Or designers who joined the network and went on to make amazing things.

We're simply folks who told amazing stories and had amazing conversations.

And I couldn't be happier to celebrate six years of one shot than to play a game that one of the designers who works on the network created.

Coffee Detective is a free form game actually adapted from an improv game that introduces

an element of cards to draw with mechanics on them to throw a couple plot twists into the game.
