Given that you're head of culture and trends at YouTube and you know everything,

what would your best advice be?

If you were to say to yourself today, okay, I want to build a YouTube subscriber base,

how would you go about starting it now?

I was talking with someone who is a celebrity in he's a comedian in the Middle East.

I was saying you got to get on YouTube and he's like, oh yeah, I'm trying to get a crew

and figure out we're going to, I was like, no man, just like you're very funny,

you're a very personable person, just from making stuff.

This is the thing that is my first advice to everyone is you got to start making something,

and like it doesn't just don't pay attention to how many people are looking at.

They don't be precious about everything immediately.

Especially at the outset when you're trying to like establish what your voice is,

you're trying to establish what your perspective is, if you have a format or a show type

that you're developing, these things need to be incubated in a way.

But at the end of the day, like if you don't care enough about the thing that you're making,

that you want to live it, breathe it, be obsessed with it all the time,

it's a really hard life.

Try to be successful at it, especially on line.

I feel like my guest today is at the center of the universe.
