Hey, what's up? My name is Doug Parker. Thank you so much for checking out this episode of Cruise Radio. So happy to have you here. So yeah, this week we're doing part two of our Majesty of the Sea Show. I just got back from a three-night cruise. And I have the listener, Kristen Ladwig from St. Louis, interview me about the experience, about the ship. So we'll talk about that a little later on in the program. Before we hop here to Stewart, let's talk about the Cruise Radio Insider Facebook page. We'd love to have you on there. Just search Cruise Radio Insider on Facebook, and we'll add you to the group there and talk about some cruise news and what Stewart talks about and all that. So with that said, he's back after six weeks. Stuart, she were on the cruise guy.

1:31.3

There are no casinos because these trips to Cuba will only be allowed if they serve a higher

1:35.7

purpose, like educational activities or aid projects. Carnival says its Cuba trips will provide

1:41.4

cultural, artistic, faith-based, and humanitarian exchanges.

1:45.5

I'm seeing a lot of mission work, church groups, colleges who do mission trips, local organizations.

1:51.9

It'd be easy to look at this as a gimmick. Do you really need to ride a cruise ship to do good around

1:56.9

the world? Stuart Shiran is the CEO of Cruise Cruiseguy.com, and he says some people might.

2:02.9

There's a lot of people that don't want to sleep in a tent, and they don't want to eat, you know,

2:07.1

very, very bad food, and they don't want to be in unsafe surroundings. If the Cuban government gives

2:12.5

the okay, Carnival says it will start making trips to Cuba in May of 2016.

2:19.1

Sam Sanders, NPR News.

2:20.6

So what are your thoughts on this, Stuart?

2:25.9

Well, I think it's going to help improve the success potential for Fathom Tenfold.

2:27.2

It's a great move.

2:30.0

It's just an opportunity that kind of fell in their lap.
