And on free for all Friday, we take a break from theology, apologetics, and usually from

current events so we can just focus on random, interesting, eclectic topics that I enjoy

talking about.

But given recent events, I've decided to postpone by one week the free for all Friday I wanted

to air today.

And those were my random thoughts on Pixar movies.

I wanted to do something just kind of fun and lighthearted.

But given everything that's happened recently, I thought it would be good to focus on one

element of it.

So you see, when I was watching the events unfold in Lamecia, California last week when there

was protests which devolved into looting and rioting less than a mile from my home, I

mean, police station was attacked, banks were burned down.

I went the next day to see the damage and to help clean up.

And there were things that were still smoldering.

I mean, it was absolutely crazy to see that this would happen.

And as I was watching it unfold that night, my family was sleeping.

Our car was packed in case the riots came into our neighborhood and buildings were set

on fire.

I mean, I thought there was maybe, I don't know, a 1% chance that would happen.
