Welcome back, everybody, to The Incomparable.

Now, before we get started this week, I want to do a disclaimer here.

I know that the Star Wars Rogue One trailer came out this week,

and everybody expects us to do one of those endless trailer deconstruction things that we sometimes

do. But I talked to John Syracuse. He did watch it, which is a big step for him, but he said

he was sort of too busy doing other things and didn't really have a lot to say about it and thought he would just sort of let it ride and save his thoughts until the movie came out.

And I talked to Dan Moran and he's on vacation and it just kind of didn't happen.

And, you know, we can't cover every trailer.

So anyway, we will definitely cover the movie when it comes out in December.

But until then, we're just going to move on and talk about this week.

overindulgent analyses of a 90-second Star Wars trailer.

However, as befits a new kind of movie starring a bunch of rebels, this episode is also

different.
