0:55.0	this conversation today with journalist Amy Donaldson. She is a journalist and has
1:02.0	also started a new podcast called The Letter. It is about the murder of Zachary
1:07.0	Snar from 1996. Zachary Snar was murdered by a young man, Jorge Benvenuto.
1:14.0	This was a random shooting. The tragedy really comes into play when you look at the
1:20.0	details of Yvette, who was Zachary's girlfriend, and himself outside taking pictures
1:27.0	of the moon. They're about to go into college. This was their first, quote, adult
1:31.0	date. And then out of nowhere, this tragedy happens. Yvette survives miraculously
1:37.0	and Zachary passes an Amy's storytelling technique in the letter doesn't
1:43.0	so much revolve around the crime itself and any punishment that happened with
1:47.0	Jorge. It revolves around how both families are dealing with this grief. And it's a
1:52.0	great podcast. It's a deep dive into a case that that is solved. But there's still
1:57.0	a lot of hanging emotion left in this case. Amy speaks with Zach's parents. It's
2:03.0	really an interesting thing because Zach's mom, Si, has a relationship with his
2:09.0	killer. Zach's mom, Si, has stated that she has forgiven him and loves him. And
2:14.0	that takes amazing strength. I don't know if I would be able to do that. I think
2:17.0	we even talk about that a little bit in the interview. It takes amazing
