Organic REV
The first thing to understand about REV is that it is not an ordinary humic acid product that is chemically-extracted from leonardite, lignite, or other coals.
Rather, it is a 100% naturally-occurring carbon, humic acid & fulvic acid source - along with exceptionally high levels of naturally-occurring microbial biomass
that can increase nitrogen efficiency by up to 25%.  REV replaces depleted soil carbon & bacterial biomass - and absorbs nutrients to make them more readily
available to plants via their root systems.

Hey you guys and happy June. I hope like me you are just loving this time of year in the garden.

0:08.1

I'm recording this pretty early in the morning. Today officially is the beginning of summer break for my kids.

0:14.3

So they're still asleep in their bedroom. So if I'm talking a little bit quietly, you can see why.

0:20.2

But I've actually already been in my garden this

0:22.0

morning, not working per se, but I have been in my garden doing something that I'm going to be

0:27.7

talking to you about today. And that is I was looking for some open squash female flowers to be

0:36.5

able to hand pollinate.

0:38.3

Why I do that at the beginning of the season is what we're going to be talking about today

0:43.3

and that's a problem that can happen with squash, zucchini, cucumbers and that is what happens

when you get the female flowers but the fruit are not developing. This is a very common

0:56.5

issue in the early spring, and it's something that beginning gardeners may not even realize is

1:01.5

happening. And that's why I thought that this would actually be a perfect time to talk about this

1:06.4

to see what causes this problem if the squash, zucchini zucchini and cucumbers that you're hoping to get,

1:12.9

why are they not developing into fruit, and then what you can do about it. So whether you're a

1:18.1

beginner or you've had some experience, I hope that this episode will give you the information

1:22.1

you need to hopefully get to the goal of what you've done with planting all these plants,

1:26.9

and that is getting a harvest.

1:29.5

Welcome, I'm Jill, and 10 years ago I started my first garden as a new stay-at-home mom

1:35.0

looking to cut grocery costs and grow my own food. Over the years, with many failures and

1:40.3

successes, I stumbled my way into becoming a gardener. And six years ago, I started this podcast

1:45.7

to help others grow their own food as well. By tuning in each Tuesday, I hope that you leave

1:51.0

inspired and with practical tips and that gardening will change your life as it did mine.
