It recalibrates me to realize that we should always be, we should be grateful for what we have,

we should take the opportunities that we have and build something great.

I mean it's hard to have that level of perspective without seeing something different

without coming from a different area.

It's easier, I mean it's easy for us to talk about it, but until you've actually experienced it, it's a different level.

We, at the end of every single month, we were trying to figure out how we can collect our money just to pay for rent.

That pain element and going through that and having that fear of

knowing that we're going to get kicked out of our home, knowing that my sister's not going to have

a place to live. That is really what shifted,

it just flipped a switch in my head and made me realize

I have to do whatever it takes to survive.

And that was really one of the hardest times of my life. And going through that is really what built my grit, what built my thick skin, my ability to be denied when I was door knocking and that sort of thing.

All of these weird things that most people are concerned about,

I didn't really care because I needed to put food on the table.

I needed to collect money to pay for the bills and that experience alone is

really what built me.
