Donald was there with a group of board builders and surfers working on concepts and

projects, and he took time each day to sit down and record some of those conversations.

His guests for this series are Jeff McCallum, Jason Woodside, Cliff Capono, Derek Disney,

Jay Nelson, and Travis Reynolds. Today's episode is with Jeff McCallum and I love Jeff. I'm sad to say

that I've never actually ridden any of his boards, even though I'm drawn to them more than almost

any others that I encounter. It's just that I've interviewed too many shapers to actually get boards

from each of them. And beyond that, Jeff's boards are simply hard to get.

You rarely see them at retail because Jeff and his crew only make a very limited amount.

And that's kind of like Jeff himself.

He's scarce in surf media.
