Hello and welcome to episode 313 of the Mindful Kind podcast.

So it's almost the start of a brand new year and I've been thinking a lot about some

0:33.0

things I'd love to focus on. I shared a few of my ideas with my wonderful newsletter subscribers recently,

0:38.6

and I received some really lovely and thoughtful responses, which inspired me to talk more

1:44.7

intentionally hurting my feelings. But now I'm much more likely to give someone the benefit of

1:50.2

the doubt, meaning I assume that they're doing the best they can or that I don't know what

1:55.1

hardships they might be dealing with behind the scenes. So naturally I started looking into

2:00.1

the research about giving people the benefit
