Welcome in everyone to this week's edition of the Deer Hunter podcast Friday, September 15th.

Got a couple things to go through here, and we're going to get you right tracking on what was a fun podcast to record.

I'm joined this week by my good friend Byron Horton of the Whitetail Experience.

And a week back from the day that you guys are listening to this, as I said,

this episode's being published Friday, September 15th, this past Friday.

After a chaotic day of work, I scrambled into the garage and Byron and I connected for a podcast.

We had a few beers and a couple good laughs, and I enjoyed the shit out of recording.

Byron and I could talk almost for endless amounts of time about deer hunting.

White Tail Experience and the Deer Hunter podcast brand have always kind of vibed and got along.

So it was fun to get with Byron, catch up. He's been deer hunting already. You'll hear a little bit

about that. He's already had his first encounters in the woods. I myself,

today, as this is recording or as this is publishing, I should say, I am heading to deer camp.

We're taking the boys, and we're going to go do the two-day, Saturday, and Sunday,

antlerless private land hunt. I've got some semblance of a plan and strategy, but we're going to be

kind of playing the weather. And honestly, with the young boys, like I said, I'm taking my son.

He's eight. My brother's taking his son and my cousin's taking his son. The boys are all right

around the same age. The kids are not not really too they can get up in tree
