My son, if you have put up security for your neighbor,
have given your pledge for a stranger,
2 if you are snared in the words of your mouth,
caught in the words of your mouth,
3 then do this, my son, and save yourself,
for you have come into the hand of your neighbor:
go, hasten,and plead urgently with your neighbor.
4 Give your eyes no sleep
and your eyelids no slumber;
5 save yourself like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter,
like a bird from the hand of the fowler.

| 1:11.0 | From the perspective of wisdom, let me read it to you, it's Proverbs 6 versus 1 through 5. |

| 1:19.8 | Says my son, if you have put up security for your neighbor if you have taken |
| 1:25.4 | shaken hands in pledge for a stranger you have been trapped by what you said |
| 1:30.3 | ensnared by the words of your mouth. |
| 1:33.8 | So do this, my son, to free yourself, since you've fallen into your neighbor's hands. |
| 1:39.6 | Go to the point of exhaustion and give your neighbor no rest. |
| 1:44.6 | Allow no sleep to your eyes, no slumber to your eyelids. |
| 1:48.8 | Free yourself like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, like a bird from the snare of the fowler. |
