If you could use some hope, I pray you find it here today. In today's episode, we're looking at one of the final parables recorded in the book of Matthew.

In it, Jesus tells the story about a master who gives different

amounts of money to his servants. But the story isn't really about the money,

it's about how the servants used what they were given.

God has given each of us unique gifts, along with an assignment to use those gifts well. And when you use your gifts to build something

or teach someone, well, you honor the giver.

Two families travel during the same month of the same summer.

Both needed a kid to watch their house, both called me. I was 13 unemployed and broke, so I took the jobs.

I fed their pets, both had dogs, I mowed their grass, both had lawns, I picked up their

daily mail and newspapers both had both. The jobs were with one exception identical, but that one exception proved crucial.
