So, as per usual, we're going through horror selections for this most spookiest of times.

And this week, we're talking about the Ramsey brothers, the ultimate horror filmmakers out of India.

When you say Bollywood Horror, you're talking about the Ramsey brothers.

And there's a few reasons for that. If you go through the history of Indian cinema, they have a very powerful golden period during the 40s, but they also had some very

heavy censorship. And because of that, that kind of kept horror out of the big screens in the

way that they took over in places like North America. So it actually took a while for some

filmmakers to finally take the chance and go, all right,

we're going all in on this horrific stuff.

And once they did, boy, howdy, did they figure out that audiences wanted it.

And the Ramsey brothers, as we'll talk about through this episode, they cranked out a lot

of movies in a surprisingly short period of time, only a decade.

That's because, you know, if the

box office is booming, you got to keep making those horror films. The Ramsey brothers were a family
