Summary

Forgiveness and acceptance are critical when learning to manage your ADHD while remembering it is a rollercoaster, and the goal is to make the ups and downs a little less extreme. This is just one of the topics we cover in our monthly Q & A session with guests Brendan Mahan and Will Curb. God now I know why I suck because I have ADHD but I also am hyper aware of the fact

that I suck in the areas that I suck in and everybody sucks in an area somewhere.

It's just the way life is.

But as you learn about it and you're putting that lens on the past 20 years of your life,

it can become really intense, it can become a really incredible experience good or bad

so tempering that with some compassion and some forgiveness some self-compassion and some

forgiveness and accepting the fact that ADHD is nothing if not a roller coaster and and that what you want to do is make the dips less like you want to reduce the dips and help the highs go higher and also make the up and down a little less extreme.

Those those kinds of perspectives can help with what to do in terms of the first thing because the first

thing is awareness learning the second thing is acceptance the emotional

forgiveness compassion and all that stuff and then then the third thing is the action the third thing is what actually feels like you're doing something
