My name is Fraser Kane, I'm the publisher of university and with me is Dr. Pamela Gay, a professor at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, and the director of Cosmicquest.

Hey Pamela, how are you doing?

I'm doing well, how are you doing Fraser?

Good, and where are you?

I am in Turku, Finland.

Turku, Finland. There must be some good reason why you're there.

I am here for the European Week of Astronomy and Space Science, where I'm working with the Gallo Teacher Training Program to educate a group of 13 teachers on how to better get astronomy into their classroom.

And I spent today over at the main part of the conference, listening to speakers, and mostly I have to admit I'm enjoying some of the very weird things that I'm noticing here.

Like what?

Like it's apparently a thing to have a restaurant that is kebab and pizza.

Oh, sure.

And this is not a combination I've ever seen before. So the kebab pizzeria is a thing in Finland.

If you like fish, they sure do really good fish there in Finland.

I haven't seen the fish, I've just seen the kebab pizzeria.

The kebab pizzeria is a bunch of those, okay.

Cool. And then you've got a few more things that are happening in Europe, right?

Yes. So I'm going from here to Nukleo in Lisbon, Portugal.

And I'll be there for two weeks. And from there, I'm going to Velo's Greece, where I'm going to spend, I think it's 10 days, working with the Global Hands on Universe folks.
