So you work for the Independence Fund probably still.

I don't know.

There's so many different organizations over there with Sarah that I kind of lose track of who works for what.

Yeah.

So I do still do work with the Independence Fund, mostly on Operation Resiliency, which is the

suicide prevention program. But yeah, still doing a lot of work, just trying to stay busy and save lives.

Yeah. Tell me about Operation Resiliency. We've talked about it on this show before quite a bit, actually,

but it's that time of year, starting in a couple of days, actually.

I think in September is Awareness Month.

So let's talk a bit about it.

What is Operation Resiliency?

What do you do?

So it was a program that we say was born at a funeral.

It started with my late husband and trickled on when another veteran in his company died by suicide. And Sarah, the CEO of the

Independence Fund, was attending the funeral. And she overheard somebody say, I'll see you at the next one.

And she immediately called Dr. Keita Franklin, who at the time was working for mental health

at VA, and said, what can we do to make sure we're not seeing our brothers reunite at the next
