Jamie’s dream was to become a news anchor, but when her rosacea got out of control, and nothing on the market could withstand the hot lights on set, she created her own makeup brand. Even though she had no experience in makeup and knew nothing about it, her gut kept telling her to quit her job and start her own business.

On her honeymoon, she and her new husband wrote the IT Cosmetics business plan and set out to launch it when they got home. It wasn’t easy, but she would not give up, and after three years of setbacks and being told no, the company took off. Jamie believes that self-doubt kills more dreams than anything.
